Hey guys,

I know there were a few of you out there interested in ordering kites, however Brian Germain does not make them himself anymore. I've found the company that made them for him, and I will be ordering 1 as soon as I get the pricing in american dollars info. If you want to check it out, the company is in South Africa http://www.wallendair.co.za and the guy's name is Pete. Just shoot them an email if you have a question, they are very cool.

The three kites they made for Brian are:

Skyno (Spitfire), 1.8M (19 Sq Feet)

Vortex XS (Terrafoil) 2.3M (25 Sq Feet)

Vortex S (Landsurfer), 3.2M (35 Sq Feet).

Jeff Helm has the Skyno and the Vortex S, and Troy just sold his Vortex XS to Mike Macina if you're wondering about the size. I'll most likely be ordering the skyno as the rest of them kinda kicked my butt. Any questions let me know, I have both Brian Germain's and Pete's emails.

Amy

Amy,

Perhaps this will help you figure out the exchange rate. 1 ZAR or R (South African Rand) equals 0.14471 USD(United States Dollar).

1000R equals $144.72 USD................5000 R equals $723.56 USD....................10,000 R equals $1,447.10 ...........I hope this helps. If you google it and look for a currrency converter, that will also give you the info you are looking for.  Keep in mind that the rate will change from day to day, but at least you will have an idea of what it may cost....

Good luck with the new kite.

Bob...........
