Hey, I had a question about what I needed to do to get current for the 2010 season. I got my A license last May and made 37 jumps with the last on at the end of november. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike:
Only another month until opening day!! To get current for the 2010 season you need to come out and do a refresher jump with a coach. We will have you take the A License test again, so that your coach has a basis of what you remember and what to go over with you. The jump costs $75 if you have your own gear, or $100 if you need to rent gear, and please allow yourself at least a few hours. We will have instructors available for you beginning March 20. And don't forget to try to make it to Safety Day on March 19. Our Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA) will be reviewing important information and procedures as well as informing jumpers of any new developments in the sport. This is a great tool for new and experienced jumpers alike to review all of the aspects of keeping our sport safe, not to mention a great way to socialize with fellow jumpers. We hope to see you jumping a lot this season!!!

What about getting current with a B license?  I  made 99 jumps with you guys last season and I'm having some serious withdraw symptoms Its gotten so bad when I get ready to jump out of my truck I give a count. READY SET GO!!

Anyone who does not meet the USPA currency requirements for their license would need to do a coach jump.

 License
USPA A-license holders who have not made a freefall skydive within 60 days should make at least one jump under the supervision of a currently rated USPA instructional rating holder until demonstrating altitude awareness, freefall control on all axes, tracking, and canopy skills sufficient for safely jumping in groups
B License
USPA B-license holders who have not made a freefall skydive within the preceding 90 days should make at least one jump under the supervision of a USPA instructional rating holder until demonstrating the ability to safely exercise the privileges of that license.
C and D License
USPA C- and D-license holders who have not made a freefall skydive within the preceding six months should make at least one jump under the supervision of a USPA instructional rating holder until demonstrating the ability to safely exercise the privileges of that license.
