As most of you know, we have wrestled with internet in the campground.   Unfortunately, all of the equipment for sharing internet in the campground has finally failed.   This means money is required to restore service.   I have talked with Rook, and we will offer internet in the campground for $50 per calendar year (per MAC address).  Furthermore there may be an additional lesser charge if any equipment fails.   I have internet up in the North area of the campground, but as of right now I will need commitment of at least 6 people in the South (Showerhouse) area to afford to put that equipment in.  We tried subscription a few years back, and could never get it to work, so this is the only way to pay for the equipment.   The internet in the hangar will continue to be provide at no cost (if you have your own laptop or use the terminals by the video concession).

Contact me if you are interested,  I am here full time this season

Okay, thanks to Lisa DeSimone, who footed the whole bill for showerhouse internet up front (she'll get her $ back as people subscribe), it is up and running throughout the showerhouse area and the north campground.   It will be up for free in the campground this weekend and next weekend.  After that (4/27/09)  I will be switching over to the $50 subscription for the season (in the campground).  You will have to contact me and pay to access the internet in the campground.

Let me know if anyone has any problems, or if areas are weak with signal.  Some areas (like around Brad V's trailer and Mike M's trailer) may be weak, so we'll have to look at that when we get some input from y'all.

Thanks,

Troy Church
