19 Dec 2008 3:52 PM Alert

I plan on holding a course the second week in May, 2009.  Tell all those interested to buy a SIM and a IRM from the uspa.org website.  It would be preferable to wait till they have the 2009 addition ready, but it is not necessary.  There are some changes being made to the 2009 stuff, and it will be current till 2011, so that is why it would be preferable.  Everyone must have at least 100 jumps and a B license, and everyone must complete the open book test for coaches, provided in the IRM.  The answers should be written on the answer sheet provided in the IRM as well.  The test should be completed before the 1st day of the course.

In addition, everyone should be familiar with the pink section in the IRM (coaches portion) and everyone needs to be familiar with the ISP (integrated student progression) in the SIM, most specifically Categories F-H.

The cost of the course is $310 for 3 days. (These days will most likely be Wednesday through Friday) This includes 2 jumps with me or an evaluator.  If more jumps are needed to pass the course the fee is $35 per jump.  Slots are not included and must be paid directly to Skydive Chicago.

I hope this helps.  Please forward this along to anybody that wants to take the course.  In addition, I need to know everyone who wishes to attend before the start of the course and there will be a $50 deposit required.

Contact me if you have any further questions or need help with anything.

Peace,
Steve Verner
