Skydive Chicago

It’s very busy here at Summerfest 2009, so this is going to be short and sweet…the boogie is in full swing, if you have been here than you already know that!

BJ Worth and Roger Ponce kicked off the boogie organizing RW big ways.  The group managed to pull off a 2 point 107-way skydive!

Thanks to all of the organizers and plane captains who worked hard to bring the event together.

The wingsuiters set the first ever official wingsuit record with 25 participants!  Congrats on reaching a new milestone.

The crew for the freefly record has also been flowing in, starting out with some impressive 40-60 way warm up jumps.

The record attempts have started today, and already, we have an unofficial record of 74 docked head down flyers.  They are about to up the ante and start going for the 108-way official record!

Big ways not your thing?  We have a ton of organizers on hand for jumpers of all levels.

Don’t forget about the parties.  Last night was the most popular fireworks show around.  Not only were there fireworks, but it ended with a wall of fire!

We have also had top notch entertainment including fire dancing, ice sculpting, and the best bands around.

Don’t miss Nice Peter playing tonight.  He is a favorite act amongst many Summerfest attendees.

Get your entries ready for the film fest too.  They must be turned in by the start of the showing Saturday night.  We have some awesome prizes to hand out including a couple of certificates for a free maintenance from Cypres.

We have over 500 registered jumpers here at Summerfest, and are geared up for the biggest turnout we have ever had!  Don’t be the only one to miss out on all of the action.  Come on down and see it for yourself.

Hope to see you here,

Erin
